as much i i'd like to write a whole freaking page about the awweeesooommmee concert, i won't. i'll write my whole day. :3 think of this blarrg as a public journal i can look back on and go "woaah, i was a really stupid pissed off kid back then". anyway, on to the entry~
to those tl;dr folks, fuck off please :) ffs, if you don't want to read it, don't.
i woke up at around 12 and took a bath. when we arrived at mall of asia, we were in SM so we tried to get outta there. BUT WAIT. we (fyi, me josh and mum) forgot to get ahia's bag! so we head over to jansport and look for the bag ken wanted. we looked for it (he wanted the small version) and found it but it was the big one. so we left it and headed out the mall. oh, we looked for fifty page (ARE YOU SURE THAT'S RIGHT CHARMAINE) around SM but found nothan. so we went to national. it was so amazingly hot there so we got out. fast. we went to look for something to eat. jollibee had a line that reached outside their doors so that was out (all concert folks methinks) we ended up in that french bakery place and mum had sammich, josh some pork thing and me the chips that came with the sammich. :3
after goin to the bathroom n' walkin around, mum bought me an ice scream (WHICH DRIPPED ON MY BY THE WAY ;~;) and we headed to the concert. that was around 7 sommin (concert was at 8) talked to them ushers on to have us sit on the wrong seats. after 'round 10 minutes, we realized it was wrong and went to the right ones. (we were s'posed to sit sa right, instead they led us to the left.) we watched the horrid commercials while waiting for pao and co to come. here a good one:
*SOME WEIRD RAP I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND* guy: "okay, happy na ako, back to work" MORE ENERGY MAS HAPPY!
oh, for you classmates who are readan this, i saw jaimie tiu and her family! which was pretty weird 'cus her dad was my mom's old boss~
*FIREWORKS!*
bahahahahaha! anyway, when pao and mico came, we talked a bit.
mico: "hey, can i borrow the binoculars?"
mom: *gives camera not really paying attention kasi she was talking to my aunt*
mico: "uhh, alright"
paolo: "it's alright, may zoom naman yan e"
me: *laughs hysterically*
mico: "here." *gives back camera*
me: "hey mami, mico asked for the binoculars."
mom: "what?! why didn't you tell me?"
mico: "kasi may zoom naman yung camera e"
me: *laughs hysterically*
mom: *hands binoculars*
mico: *tests it out* "hey it works!"
uhh, yeah. that's our convo. there was more, but mostly just me and pao insulting each other. :3
pao: "you're fat"
me: "you're fat"
pao: "-ter"
me: *laughs hysterically* "yeah!"
then we decided go get somem mcdo (it was near lang) we (aunt, me, mico, josh) started walking and halfway through, people started shouting. (they did this EVERYTIME they thought the daveeds were coming out) so we went back to our seats kasi out aunt was afraid it would start and we would be cought in between shouting people.
5 minutes later...
mico: "GODDAMMIT, I COULD BE NOM-ING RIGHT NOW!"
me: *laughs hysterically*
...as you can see i laugh laugh hysterically a lot around my cousins. <3
after like, 5 more sudden screams by teenage girls and gay guys, archuleta finally came out. as i predicted, he tried and failed at speaking filipino. (of course, i can't either. bahah) can't really remember what he said but, yeah. he sang 13 songs (counted by me mum who was just sittan there :3 ilu mummeh!) and left. he sang some songs i dint know, thousand miles, (which, apparently, was the first song he could play on the piano AND sing at the same time! woaaah) angels by robbie williams, a little too not over you, crush, touch my hand and uhm, that uhh... other one. yeah. the other one. *scrolls back up* WAIT! zero gravity! yeah, that's the one!
5 minutes and 19863 random screams later...
me: "god! there's poker playing on the tv! ...and the song that's playing isn't even cook's! they could at least put on a slide show of cook and play his song if he's not coming!"
...
rike, super awesome fireworks. which i bet were next week's fireworks.
11 minutes later (yes, i could not stop counting :3)
cook came from the bottom of the stage (that platform thing that's from the bottom and goes up >>) and also sang thirteen songs. he too, tried to speak filipino.
"magandang gabee!"
"salamat poh! oh man, i'm so close to passing this test!" <- bahahaha!
though at the end of the daily anthem, arch came out and "WOAAAH-ed" with him and the crowd. he also waved his hand around like a ma-ni-ac. after that song the concert ended. i had fun of course, but i was soooo expecting them to sing a song or two together. cook sang always be my baby, a craploadda songs we all dint know, some songs from his past album (the '06 one) and songs from his new album. oh and in between a song, he got some cameras of those sitting near the stage (unfortunately, wasn't one of them. =( the front ticks are 12K! gosh!) and pictured himself and gave back the camera. stupid lucky people.
after the concert, me mom shot some smokers with mah watergun. they sooo deserved it. you don't smoke in a concert goddammit! we got hungry, so on the way out we grabbed them free sample orange juice and drank a lot. =)) then we got in our seperate cars sand headed for a mcdo near their home.
*drive*
MCDO!
me: *creeps up mico* "boo!"
we ate and they left pretty soon. =( 'course, got to talk to pao and to mico well, not so much. he was sleepy na daw e. oh yeah, the concert ended at 11:06. kinda lame right? wish it ended at 12.) then we just headed home.
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- old lady bangan her head to the music
- buncha screeeeaaaaming girls right next to us
- girl who screams "I LOVE YOU DAAVIIIID" five times every song (it's cook)
- creepy lady who dances creepily beside us to songs of cook's i'm sure she doesn't even know
- girl held up a sign "NEAL MARRY ME" cook goes "hey neal (main guitarist) look! this girl wants to marry you! *starts to sing come back to me* BAHAHAHAHAH!
- johnny (guitarist?) uses that stage thing where you come up from the bottom. cook sends him back down.
- arch does not only squint, HE CLOSES HIS EYES ENTIRELY. (oh yeah, in my opinion, i swear he looks better irl =)))
- BUH-LINDING LIGHTS!
all in all, it was an awwwesoome night for me. =D!
